The declarant acknowledges that during the entire rental period, they are solely responsible for the safety and condition of the vehicle.

Any damage or injury caused to a person or property — whether by the declarant or any authorized representative — must be financially compensated to the vehicle owner and all affected parties within 24 hours of the incident.

The declarant must return the vehicle at the end of the rental period in the same condition as it was received.

The declarant is fully responsible for any traffic violations or offences committed during the rental period.

All fines and penalties must be paid within 5 days of being notified — either by Urban Tricity Cabs or by the relevant government authorities.

The vehicle must be driven within the speed limits and other regulations stipulated by the local authorities of the area in which it is being used.

All toll taxes and applicable road charges are the declarant's responsibility. Any remaining toll balance in FASTag is non-refundable.

During the rental period, the declarant must NOT:

• Make any modifications or alterations of any kind to the vehicle.
• Transport drugs, inflammable substances, or any other banned materials.
• Sub-contract, lend, lease, or re-rent the vehicle to any individual, financer, business, or company — for personal or commercial use.

The declarant is solely liable for any injury, loss of life, or property damage caused by or to the vehicle during the rental period.

No claims may be made against Urban Tricity Cabs or the vehicle owner for any damage to property, injury, or death resulting from the use of the vehicle during the rental period.

The following speed limits are strictly enforced for all rented vehicles:

If the vehicle breaks down or is involved in an accident, the declarant is responsible for arranging and bearing the full cost of towing the vehicle to the hub assigned by Urban Tricity Cabs.

Each rental includes a daily kilometre allowance. Usage beyond the limit will be billed at the rates below. Monthly limit is fixed at 4,500 km.

• Any extra fuel remaining in the vehicle upon return will NOT be reimbursed to the customer.
• Any remaining balance in the FASTag account upon return will NOT be refunded.
• Extra funds loaded in FASTag are non-refundable.

The security deposit collected at the time of booking will be refunded within 24 hours of the vehicle being returned and inspected.

The refund is subject to deductions for any damages, over-speeding penalties, traffic violations, excess kilometres, cleaning charges, or other dues outstanding at the time of return.

The cleanliness status of the vehicle at pickup will be recorded in the booking details. If the vehicle is returned in a dirty condition, washing charges will be applied as follows:

In the event of non-payment of rental dues, Urban Tricity Cabs reserves the right to deposit any cheque provided as security into its bank account.
